The Terme di Sorano thermals springs lie in the territory of Santa Maria dell’Aquila, where there was once a private bath open only to the local gentry. Today the springs have been restored and opened to the public and are located a couple of kilometres from the town of Sorano, a beautiful medieval village.

The thermal waters at Terme di Sorano are magnesium calcaric and are used to treat respiratory diseases, rheumatism and circulatory ailments.
